{"id":989,"date":"2025-02-11T11:36:01","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T08:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kimya2025.com\/?p=989"},"modified":"2025-02-11T11:36:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T08:36:01","slug":"fabienne-dumoulin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kimya2025.com\/en\/fabienne-dumoulin\/","title":{"rendered":"Fabienne Dumoulin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. Dr. Fabienne Dumoulin completed her PhD in organic chemistry with a European Label in Lyon, France in 2002<strong>. &nbsp;<\/strong>After a post-doc in Pisa, Italy, she settled in T\u00fcrkiye in 2005 and is now a faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Ac\u0131badem Mehmet Ali Ayd\u0131nlar University since 2020.She is an internationally recognized expert on the design and synthesis of tetrapyrrolic derivatives, mainly phthalocyanines for photodynamic therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She authored so far 1005+ research articles, three book chapters and supervised a dozen of Master and PhD students. She has been awarded several Young Scientist Awards: TUBA-GEB\u0130P from the Turkish Academy of Sciences, BAGEP from the Bilim Akademisi and the METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Education and Research Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Fabienne Dumoulin has been elected thrice officer of the executive committee of the European Society for Photobiology in 2015, 2017 and 2023. She is also a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the national representative of T\u00fcrkiye for the Society of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines.
